September ViewPoint Wedding in York, Maine

This wedding was EPIC for so many reasons but what will stick in my head forever was deciding to change the date of the wedding TWO DAYS before it happened. Yup. Hurricane Lee was coming in hot and with the fear that not only rain, but winds so strong that it would be unsafe for guests to be under the tent, we decided on Wednesday to shift the wedding day from Saturday the 16th to Friday the 15th. And you know what? The pivot could NOT have been easier because of the caliber of amazing vendors on this event who just rolled up their sleeves to pull it off. Not to mention a bride & groom who were cool as cucumbers and just go with the new plan. The result was magical- evidenced by the photos below. And this sunset?? I recently learned that sunsets the night before a hurricane are always this stunning because there is so much going on in the atmosphere for the sun to reflect off of…but I’m sticking to my story that there was magic in the air. Congrats Christine & Tony!
