Absolutely loved celebrating LOVE with Thurston & David. Late September (honestly Boston at it’s best), photos in the Public Garden, a ceremony at the historic Trinity Church, and a reception for the ages at The Newbury Boston. This wedding was a true masterclass in how to share the quintessential Boston experience with guests. The design was super masculine with velvet fabrics in navy and chocolate brown, smoke tinted cut crystal glassware, and TONS of magnolia branches in lieu of traditional floral (a nod to Thurston’s Mississippi roots). And while this reception was adults-only, these amazing grooms made sure we wrote the timeline for the day so that we could bring all of their beloved nieces and nephews into the ballroom for the big moments (first dance, cutting of the cake, etc), with the intention of reshaping what a “traditional” wedding looks like for this future generation. Could you love anything more??
