Boston’s Best Rehearsal Dinner Locations

You’ve got the wedding venue and date all set….but now what about where to have your rehearsal dinner in Boston? It can be a challenge! And while there are plenty of restaurants with private dining rooms, sometimes you might want something a little more outside-the-box. No fear! Here are my 10 favorite Unique Rehearsal Dinner Spots in Boston!

  1. Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum

Empty Frames or not, the Gardner Museum has a ton to offer. Whether having dinner in Cafe G in the newly renovated wing, or a reception in the Cloisters / Galleries in the palace, hosting your rehearsal dinner here is a fabulous experience and a great way to show off one of Boston’s finest but most underrated gems to out of towners.

2. Larz Anderson Auto Museum

Brookline’s Larz Anderson Museum is a historic estate that looks like a castle on the outside with a rustic barn vibe on the inside. It’s perfect for long family tables and and bistro lights, with the US’s oldest vintage car collection as a fun perk for guests to check out. You can also tent outside on the gorgeous grounds with food trucks and lawn games for a totally different vibe.

3. Porto

Located in the heart of Back Bay, this Mediterranean inspired restaurant by chef Jody Adams is known for their private events. It’s informal but just fancy enough to be fun. The patio with skyline views makes it a perfect spot to introduce guests to Boston.

4. Cosmica

I love Cosmica for private events. Located in the Revolution Hotel (formerly the YWCA), this Cal-Mex restaurant has a funky fun atmosphere and one of Boston’s best patio’s.

8. Nightshift Taproom

How fun is this? Night Shift Brewing in Everett not only serve’s up New England’s most loved micro-brew, but is also the perfect spot to hold a casual rehearsal dinner or welcome center. Food Trucks & Beer Lovers welcome!

10. Bleacher Bar

This last one is for the sports lover (not me, but I get the appeal). Located UNDERNEATH Fenway park with a remarkable view of the outfield that even this non baseball fan can appreciate, guests visiting Boston for your wedding will have the BEST intro to Beantown.
